Puck is probably the most loyal of all VA’s agents. The former VA chief saved his life from being beaten by TW agents that were trying to steal his sister when he was 14. He took him in, along with his sister, and took care of them in his own house. He didn’t expected a thing out of Puck and never asked him for any favors or works till three years later. And when he did, Puck was already begging him to let him help for more than an year. He wanted to pay back everything he had received, out of gratitude.
When Jesse took over, after their first chief’s death, Puck swore he’d protect him, like he couldn’t protect the man that had became like a father to him. Jesse trusts Puck unreservedly, and he’s probably the only one that he trusts like this. Puck thinks that VA is the perfect place to be and just where he fits and will be for the rest of his life, however long it might be. He admires that it’s an smart organization that deals with others without being ever smashed by any and getting the most out of them. He also enjoys the freedom he gets out of it. As long as he’s always available for emergency calls he can do whatever he wants with his day and still gets a home, shelter, food and also care for his sister.
He likes to enjoy the best of life. He’s usually busy ‘trying out’ VA’s new girls (and some recent rumors say that he’s been trying out the boys as well) and when he’s not, he’s having a drink by the bar or supervising one of their expensive clubs. He’s also the best of VA at shooting, physical fights and in getting done with his missions, even if some might not like his ‘methods’ (which usually involves a lot of reckless acts, use of strength and not thinking things through), they can’t argue with his results. He’s respected by VA’s older agents and feared by the newbies. He’s also responsible for their training.
He found out about the existence of his half-brother Jake in a mission dealing with drug transactions that went wrong and brought him to VA. Jake was in bad shape and Puck took him in, just like he had been taken in before. Their relationship isn’t exactly wonderful, but Puck looks out for him even in his harsh, complaining way, and Jake gets it.

I’m the kind of girl that girls don’t like. I’m the kind that boys fantasize. I’m the kind that your momma and your daddy were afraid you’d turn out to be like… People think it’s intimidating when a girl is cool with her sexuality, I’m a 180 to the stereotype girls like staying home and being innocent.”
Sarah Puckerman always hated the way she was called at home. When she waas a kid she hadn’t minded. It made her feel like a princess when all those big men would smile at her and ask her what ‘the young lady’ wanted. She never understood why they did that, but it was nice and she always managed to get whatever she wanted, from ice cream to a new doll she saw on the TV just by asking. She was 5 when those men tried to take her away from her brother and Mr. St. James found them and all their lives turned upside down. In a good way, of course.
She remembered almost nothing about her old life. She had grew up as the rich child of a crime chief and that’s all she knew. Just like Jesse. Just like him because despite her knowing her brohter loved her and that he’d always be around if she asked him to, she knew that since they stepped inside Mr. St. James house and Jesse put his eyes on him, he hadn’t been hers anymore. Even as a child, she could feel that even when he was around, his mind was elsewhere, and every chance he got he’d be glued to Jesse. Her being 8 years younger and he finally getting a chance to just be a 13 years old boy and not an young adult anymore also didn’t help. She knew he didn’t mean to but as time passed she slowly stopped asking. He’d still check on her everyday, wake her up, make her breakfast and tug her in at night, but he wasn’t her partner in crime anymore.
As she grew up, she slowly realized she was different from other kids. She never went to school, she was home-schooled and spending a lot of time with adults made her grow faster. There weren’t any other kids around and she soon learned to behave and talk like a mini-grown up. That’s why she soon learned to be frustrated with that term. As soon as she turned 13, she started to understand that ‘young lady’ not only meant they were there to serv her, it also meant she was a child, but not only that, that she was the boss’s property and part of St James family and as such it was used to keep their distance. With the whole bunch of sexuality around and after Mr. St James died when she was 10, and the rules around the house loosened up, her own sexuality developed very early. By the age of 14, she knew what her brothers did when they were ‘in counsel’ around the house and it frustrated her that she was never allowed to do the same.
What else was to do in that house? She had no friends, she wasn’t allowed to leave. All she could do was study and live her life through TV, and get out only to exercise or shop always under the vigilant eyes of an agent and watch everyone have fun without her. By the age of 15, she became a problem. He presence distracted the agents. She’d do anything to try that forbidden taste, to tease them into surrendering to her. And what a power she had to do so. It became to a point where Jesse tired to lecture and trade her escolt every month, decided it’d be best to send her to school.
So she was sent to High School at one of the best schools around and for the first time in her life she hated to be out of home. She used to have so much fun there! Those boys in her school were only that, boys. But at least now she had something she never did before: friends. Friends to complain about her big brothers to and that seemed to have the same problems as her, friends to talk about boys with and all those things wandering in her head about sex. Friends that wouldn’t laugh at her like she was a child but laugh with her and tell their own secrets back. She learned to like it. But if Jesse thought school could tame her, he couldn’t be more wrong. She soon learned that there were some teachers in her school that weren’t all that bad, along with some of the senior boys and whenever she had the chance she’d escape home at night and wander through any of the clubs where the guards didn’t know her face yet to meet those boys and show she was more than a little girl.
She was a Puckerman indeed and she wanted the same good life her brother had. Alcohol, boys, music and to dance and dance and dance. The thrill in her skin when she walked into a room and knew every pair of eyes were glued to her and wanted her. It was the best feeling in the world and she wouldn’t give it up for some lectures. Puckerman that seemed to be multiplying. When she met Jake a couple of years ago, she learned quickly that he was no Noah. Jake didn’t mind her hanging around. He’d let her drink and although with him it was still ‘no boys’ - ugh! - he at least didn’t treat her like a child and talked to her as similars. He knew most of her problems and things she’s done she’d never tell anyone, and she knew his. That’s why he covered up for her to get in the clubs and she did…. What she had to to help him forget the things about his past he had told her. She didn’t blame him, and he didn’t framed her and she was grateful for that. She loved Noah still but Jake got her.
All in all, with all her teen problems she couldn’t say she had a bad life.
Oh no, she didn’t have a bad life. As long as the next hot boy was available and when that was missing a good day at the shopping buying mostly lingeries and the clothes that would make her the hottest. And of course, if her guard wanted to give an opinion at her clothing… She wouldn’t be the one to protest.
